The Law and Business Association exists to connect students to the business of law. Our events bring together professionals in the field who can shed light on business focused topics such as firm hiring cycles, in-house counsel positions, the law firm as a business and the use of technology in the practice of law. Our club hosts panel discussions to allow students to meet members of the legal community and since 2017/2018, we have hosted the Faculty of Law's Legal Innovation Conference.
Join us for our latest exciting event: Alternative Careers in Law! The Alternative Careers panel aims to provide students with the opportunity to learn from a variety of legal professionals who have had distinctive legal experiences, worked in non-traditional roles, or have unique roles and responsibilities in a private practice setting.
Whether you're a student looking to become a member or a professional looking to participate in our events and connect with law students, please reach out to us! Use the direct contact form to send us an email or reach out to us on social media.
